Learning Spanish through the Rosetta program and can't get the RR sound! I've tried all the various tips I could find on Google but nothing has worked its magic yet. Does anyone have a tip?
1. Make your mouth into the shape you would for an "oo" sound 2. Place the tip of your tongue at the very front of the hard palate and turn the sides of your tongue inward 3. Exhale moderately quickly as if blowing out candles
Just keep trying to make that motor-like sound (practice, practice, practice...) and it should eventually come to you! Once you've got a steady rrrrrr going, then try to insert it along with a word like burro or churro (something where you're already making the "oo" sound before the rr). Then work up to words like tierra that don't have the "oo" sound in front.

Let me know how it goes :)
